On May 28th and 29th, 2011 Eco Preservation Society had its  Eco Tourism 2.0 kickoff event at the community of El Silencio on the Central Pacific Coast, nestled along the Savegre River near the beach town of Dominical.

The proceeds from the Fiesta de Arboles event will fund EPS's Central Pacific Habitat Restoration Project and the El Silencio Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center. All proceeds will go directly into a transparent project funds and all stake holders and contributors will see exactly how the money is spent. Ongoing updates on Social Media will establish long lasting relationships with the program managers and participants.
